About Me

Hi, I’m Letina, and I’d like to welcome you to Bronte’s Cafe. My journey to becoming a lover of classic literature was unexpected but profoundly fulfilling, a path I’m eager to share with you, especially if you’re someone like me who once avoided reading. My story begins not as your typical bookworm narrative, but rather from a place of necessity and curiosity.

I’ve always been the kind to rely on Cliff Notes and movie adaptations during my school years. Reading wasn’t a favorite pastime; it was more of a means to an end for getting through those endless book reports. But a few years ago, things started to change. During the pandemic, after battling through multiple bouts of COVID, I began noticing how my memory was affected. Desperate to find ways to improve, I turned to Google for advice, and reading emerged as a potential solution.

Eager to give it a try, I bought ‘The Glass of Time’ and ‘The Meaning of Night’. And guess what? These books captivated me in a way I never thought possible, opening a door to a world of stories and perspectives I hadn’t experienced before. This was my first step into realizing the richness of literature, far beyond the mere summaries I’d relied upon in the past.

But that was just the beginning. I also have a personal tie to the adventurous world of “Harry Potter”. As an avid fan of Hufflepuff house, I finally embarked on the journey of reading the entire Harry Potter series. Everyone always said the books were better than the movies, and they were right. This discovery didn’t just ignite a passion; it confirmed that there was joy to be found in this quiet activity called reading.

Now, you might wonder what all this has to do with Bronte’s Café. Well, my journey doesn’t stand alone.
